Guidance for Every Parent with Special Need: Join Our Workshop at LIGHT CDC

At Light CDC’s next parent workshop, we’ll explore the concept of People Games — simple, interactive activities that focus on building connection, shared enjoyment, and social engagement between parent and child. Unlike toy-based or screen-based play, People Games use eye contact, gestures, and turn-taking to strengthen communication and relationship skills.

Parents will learn how to adapt People Games to their child’s comfort, keep the rules simple, repeat actions to build confidence, and add words or sounds to encourage communication and turn-taking. It’s a playful, practical way to strengthen relationships while supporting development.
