Activities Of Daily Living In Children With Developmental Delay
At Light Child Development Centre, we believe that when children learn to care for themselves, they feel more confident in every part of life. Our monthly parenting workshops are designed to equip families with practical skills and emotional guidance that truly make a difference at home.
Activities of Daily Living (ADL) such as dressing, eating, grooming, and self-care can often be challenging for children with developmental delays. Yet, mastering these skills is key to independence, dignity, and success in school and social environments.
In this session, Dr.S. Rajamurali will guide parents on how to support their child in learning everyday routines through structured steps, patience, and meaningful reinforcement.
If you’ve ever wondered:
🌟 How can I help my child eat or dress more independently?
🌟 What small habits can help with brushing, bathing, and toileting?
🌟 How do therapists build ADL skills and how can I continue them at home?
If these questions feel familiar, this workshop is for you.
Join us to learn simple techniques, participate in open discussions, and discover daily opportunities to improve independence in your child’s life — one routine at a time.
